Dr. Aasin Tareen

Dr. Aasin Tareen is a board-licensed Foot and Ankle surgeon who has resided in both Los Angeles and Orange County for most of his life. Once a patient himself for foot and ankle issues, Dr. Tareen is committed to getting patients on their feet again. Whether it be diabetic wound management, flat or high arch foot reconstruction, painful bunions, Achilles tendon injuries, Warts, Fungus, Ingrown nails, etc., he is willing to do anything to get you walking pain-free.

Dr. Tareen has had extensive experience with sports medicine, bunion and hammertoe deformities, trauma, pediatrics, and diabetic limb salvage. He has published numerous papers in the medical literature on the management of the conditions mentioned above. In addition to the numerous foot and ankle pathologies that Dr. Tareen treats, he has worked with several professional sports organizations treating common foot and ankle issues.

Education

Dr. Tareen began his training at the University of California Irvine and later finished Medical School at Barry University In Miami, Florida, where he served as President of his Medical University. Dr. Tareen did his residency training at one of the leading medical institutions in America—Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He was later granted the prestigious opportunity to become Chief Resident at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Tareen has had the honor of training under the most world renowned Foot and Ankle Surgeons in the entire United States. Dr. Tareen continues to pay this forward by training current residents and medical students at his Alma Mater.

Outside The Office

During his free time, Dr. Tareen enjoys spending time with his wife and two young girls, traveling to different countries, playing basketball (Go Lakers!), and especially cooking. His mantra is, “May your feet take you where your heart yearns to go.” He looks forward to meeting people from all walks of life so he can get to know them and their cultures a bit more.

Dr. Albert Elhiani

Albert Elhiani, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and highly skilled foot surgeon. He provides top-quality diagnostic evaluations for children and adults at All South Bay Footcare on Hawthorne Blvd. in Torrance, California, and surrounding cities like Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Carson, and Hawthorne, California.

Dr. Elhiani is an expert in foot and ankle surgery who uses minimally invasive techniques to treat bunions, relieve heel pain, improve the overall function of your feet & ankles, and has extensive experience managing diabetic foot ulcers. He also specializes in wound care for lower leg injuries. He’s also an active member of the American College Of Foot And Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and associated with the Podiatric Medical Association(PMA).

Education

The University of Southern California is well-known for producing world-class athletes and physicians alike. Dr. Elhiani earned his degree in kinesiology from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles before pursuing medical training at the prestigious Samuel Merritt University, College of Podiatric Medicine, where he obtained his degree with honors!

His surgical residency at the impressive Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, was an invaluable learning experience. There he served as chief resident and learned some of today’s most innovative techniques for treating foot ailments!

Dr. Elhiani has achieved excellence in both his practice and education, authoring many articles for publication across scientific journals and presenting work at international conferences to teach future doctors how he operates on patients with various foot conditions.

Outside The Office

He is a selfless doctor who has given so much to those around the world, often spending his time on medical missions in countries like Mexico, Israel, and Honduras, where he provides primary care and surgical services for underprivileged communities that cannot afford it otherwise.

With his patients’ convenience in mind, Dr. Elihani speaks English and is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew – making him one of the most versatile doctors around!
